《Head Up – 希望之鹿》是一幅七層樓高的大型幻獸壁畫，描繪了一隻昂首望向遠方的鹿。鹿角的弧度如同晚霞在空中綻放的流光，把天空的溫暖永遠留在城市的牆面上。這不僅是一幅畫，而是一個讓人停下腳步、抬頭看、與城市共享呼吸的理由。
Head Up – The Shape of Hope is a monumental mural spanning seven stories high, portraying a deer gazing upward into the distance. The curvature of its antlers mirrors the flowing light of a sunset, preserving the warmth of the sky on the city’s wall. This is not merely a painting—it is a reason for people to pause, look up, and breathe with the city.
鹿的眼神專注而溫和，微微抬起的頭部引領觀者看向更遠的地方。鹿角的層次色彩暗示時間的流動與生命的延續。晚霞的橙、粉、紫色調交融其中，象徵著從困境走向希望的過程。這是藝術與情感的融合，讓作品不僅停留在視覺層面，更進入觀者的心中。
The deer’s gaze is steady yet gentle, its head slightly raised as if guiding the viewer to look farther ahead. The layered hues of its antlers hint at the passage of time and the continuity of life. The blending of sunset tones—orange, pink, and violet—symbolizes the journey from struggle toward hope. This is where art and emotion converge, transcending the visual to reach the depths of the heart.
這幅公共藝術作品誕生於深圳藝術節期間，創作條件充滿挑戰。初期以壓克力乳膠漆作畫，但第一層色彩完成後，一場突如其來的暴雨將顏料沖刷殆盡，進度瞬間回到原點。
然而，藝術節開幕的倒數計時不會因天氣暫停——我必須在有限時間內讓它重生。
This public art piece was created during the Shenzhen Art Festival under challenging conditions. The work began with acrylic latex paint, but a sudden downpour washed away the freshly painted first layer, resetting progress to zero. Yet the countdown to the festival opening would not stop for the weather—I had to bring it back to life in limited time.
我決定改用噴漆，加速作業，並搭起雨棚與工作燈，在夜裡持續作畫。
在黑夜與燈光交織下，色彩重新浮現於牆面。那段時間的每一筆，每一層色塊，都是對「希望」的詮釋——一次又一次從挫敗中站起來的堅持。
Switching to spray paint to speed up the process, I set up a canopy and work lights, painting deep into the night. In the interplay of darkness and illumination, colors returned to the wall. Every stroke and every block of color during that time was my interpretation of “hope”—a determination to rise again from each setback.
壁畫的特別之處，在於它無法被帶走或私有化。它與建築共存，與天氣互動，與路過的每一個人建立聯繫。它是公共的藝術，不需門票，卻能成為某人記憶的一部分——也許是在日常通勤途中，也許是在無意間抬頭的瞬間，這隻鹿的眼神就被記住了。
What makes murals unique is that they cannot be taken away or privatized. They coexist with the architecture, interact with the weather, and connect with every passerby. Murals are public art—free to all—yet they can become part of someone’s personal memory. Whether during a daily commute or an accidental glance upward, the deer’s gaze remains in the mind.
我希望這幅鹿不只是牆上的圖像，而是一種象徵——象徵著仰望、堅持與希望。生活中，我們都會遇到突如其來的風雨，把我們推回原點。但如果願意撐起雨棚、點亮燈光，就能在黑夜裡看見色彩。有一天，當你走在街上抬起頭時，也許會感覺到，更美好的事物正迎面而來。
I hope this deer is more than an image on the wall—it is a symbol of looking upward, persevering, and holding on to hope. In life, we all face sudden storms that push us back to the start. But if we’re willing to raise the canopy and switch on the light, we can still see color in the darkness. One day, as you walk down the street and lift your gaze, you might feel that brighter things are coming your way.
